One of our engineers has been doing some work with RRDTool (Round Robin Database); and more specifically PYRRD.  He’s using it to combine real time usage stats with a prediction algorithm so that we can pre-emptively allocate resources to different parts of the system.  Its real spiffy.

His additions to the PYRRD library just got commited to the trunk build, and he’s credited in the readme.

Making WebDAV and NGINX Play Nice Together

NGINX supports WebDAV, but its support is incomplete. Here’s how we made a quick PHP hack to allow us to use WebDAV without having to proxy to another web server.

The Head Shaving Experience

One of our Producers here at Agora Games let co-workers shave his head! Here are a few pictures of the madness.  Check out that Pac-Man ghost! Arrows seemed to be the most popular of the art that was being shaved in on Friday, March 6th.

Apparently the shaving of our producer’s head made MTV Multiplayers Twitter Watch!
